Here is the screenshot of the original. The picture goes a bit below just the company name.  Here is a screenshot of the movie encoded with the flatpak version....

I ended up finishing my tasks related to this on another machine that didn't exhibit the problem. If you're working on this, though, I can still get on that machine...

I tried with both the Flatpak and Debian-built 1.7.2 versions. Both exhibited the problem, still.
