Without use of fallback, how does it appear in plex? As tofu?

Would be worthwhile to properly handle all the ZWJ / ZWNJ characters maybe as part of the Math Symbols project?

@mjabbink may we ask: - a comment on the choice of orthography for TC (also asked in #346) - an update on the latest ETA for JP, TC, and SC...

@mjabbink I'd propose the current glyph be made the alternate here. The default glyph should have horizontal bars as # char has in the vast majority of fonts.

It would at least be nice if some standards could be established across CJK. Currently KR and JP have different line heights, different scaling of alpha chars, etc. If IBM...

+1 to left. It has the added benefit that it will be closer to Japanese joyo kanji (can largely be re-used for Japanese)

Is Japanese included in this release?

@BoldMonday that's really not ideal; makes it much harder to work with bilingual content. KR and JP glyphs should be the same size... do you have examples of other fonts...
