what does `ebusd --help|grep ebusd.pid` give? if this is other than /var/run/ebusd.pid then your compilation is weird and you should check the default of the used autoconf localstatedir
this is due to cmake doing things a bit different. try autoconf instead
which firmware version is it?
can you ping the ip in this case? what is the status of the LEDs on the adapter and the W5500?

are you sure the custom csvs are always reachable from within the container in the /ebusd-config path? maybe this is a podman issue or something with mounting a local volume/path...
