probably the recognition of the low level does not work good enough
the bai is on another end of the cabling, isn't it? and that changes a lot. plus it is a different unit which might just have a little different requirements...
do you this still with the current ebusd version?

please increase the disconnect timeout on the broker and check if the behaviour is the same
I can't reproduce this with the current code base. could you please clone this repo, compile and check if the behaviour persists?
