It is currently being done on a branch (user-streams). You're welcome to check out that branch and try it out - we'd love feedback!

This is certainly in-scope, I just haven't gotten around to working out how best to integrate it yet.

This is done for iOS, and there are now two variants of the build in Release. libADNKit-iOS.a does NOT include AFNetworking by default, and libADNKit-AFNetworking-iOS.a DOES include it by default.
