Yes, only synaptics is supposed to support multi touch gestures. I can't confirm if it's working as I haven't a t440p running on Catalina on hand as of now.

It runs for sure on Mojave, but it's broken on Catalina.

I recommend using the default intel wireless card now since it's now supported.
