@btd1337 since the app is trying to access those directories so may be you can try adding yourself to 'lightdm' group?

@btd1337 correct. @calo001 I'm using pantheon on arch. Owner for directory `/var/lib/lightdm-data/` is `lightdm:lightdm` and permissions are `drwxrwx--T` Will it be possible to use polkit authentication?

for me deleting the sqlite db only temporarily fixes the issue. the issue re-occurs randomly after rebooting the device.
