I think Spotify now serves music & ads from the same server, so blocking requests to the server that serves the ads would result in blocking the music server too....

Hang on - are these just warnings or actual errors that affect functionality? Are there noticeable things wrong (ie assets not rendering on the production version)? Thanks!
