https://github.com/gitpod-io/gitpod/issues/3566 May be the report should go on VSCode side.

I was only able to get the user input properly with **ms-vscode.cpptools** locally with VSCode for now.

Same behavior there : https://github.com/eclipse-cdt/cdt-gdb-vscode/issues/43

Hi guys, I can get the getChar with the 25.1. The only thing is that I get a "Cancelled" in the Debug console at the end of the execution.

GitPod has still trouble with that. ![image](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/1152718/143861550-a0e498f5-14a0-4369-b0c0-9c5f5442dd26.png)

**Version :** v25.1 With VSCode I can still miss the getChar() but it seems far much better. ![image](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/1152718/143862188-3eb285e2-d645-4af2-97fe-b18fce2d981a.png)

**With a recent GitPod Workspace :** https://coral-puffin-q8gr472u.ws-eu17.gitpod.io I miss the getChar and the breakpoint. ![image](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/1152718/143863577-878fc3f7-f93a-450e-81d2-d4d0956ec569.png)

Here I got the getChar with the Hello lines at once. ![image](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/1152718/143864553-d6b6bae2-078d-4cc1-9c6f-ebc6f02205de.png) ![image](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/1152718/143864569-a59e8ae8-2d34-447c-9a7f-0465cf3b78b8.png)

Thanks for the reply @WebFreak001! May be we could add on the main README.md the latest published versions on the markets.
