Worth noting that there is a geomorphons and wetness index function in the [WhiteboxTools R package](https://whiteboxr.gishub.org/index.html): [wbt_geomorphons](https://whiteboxr.gishub.org/reference/wbt_geomorphons.html) and [wbt_wetness_index](https://whiteboxr.gishub.org/reference/wbt_wetness_index.html). Not that this precludes them from being added to `terra`!
