No, this is about the lights on the boards running HID Remapper. We do have an issue about getting CapsLock etc. to work. (#6)

The latest official release also contains a (different) fix for this!

There's some nonsense in the device's report descriptor, but I don't see anything that would crash HID Remapper. The fact that the backlight doesn't turn on might indicate some hardware...
