I haven't done much for the other ORMs as I am not too familiar with them. But this does give a good base to add customizations.

This allows the retries and timeouts to be configurable. I also removed the `Kernel.sleep` as it shouldn't be necessary IMO.

Not switching active split window

Currently when you execute the command it opens a new split in insert mode and makes it the active split window. Is it possible to do the same without switching...
