Hey Petra, This is a great problem!! And the topic of my current research masters, so I would love to explore this further. I am currently looking at communicating uncertainty...
One of the difficulties in visualising uncertainty is that there are so many different types of uncertainty. We could explore a visualisation technique for a specific uncertainty measure - like...
I also think that interactivity can be a useful channel for including uncertainty. Often the visual channels (colour, size, shape etc) are taken up by other variables.
Was great to have an opportunity to chat about this sticky challenge. Although we didn't get that far in building anything I'm keen to keep working on this one.. Hopefully...
sounds good..
6 votes from the Unconference. :) I'd be interested in continuing to chat about this. I am sure there are a few other fro the group too.
7 votes from the AuUnconf... :) Might be worth continuing discussions around this..
Nick created a channel on the AuUnconf slack account. Anyone interested can join discussions there also.
This project got 6 votes at the AuUnconf. People that were interested in continuing discussions around this issue after the Unconf were: Jessie (me), Adam, Peter B, Miles.
I think this is a pretty fun idea. And potentially actually pretty useful. humans are pretty good at picking up different ces in sound.
