Unable to init from given url since updating to Laravel 5.5

I started getting this error suddenly after updating to Laravel 5.5. Any ideas what might be causing this?

404 error when going to /forums

Just installed this with Laravel 6. Haven't changed any of the config. I go to domain.com/forums and domain.com/discussions. Both give 404 errors. Any ideas how to solve?
