If you do it in rawprepare you would have to take care of the roi (region of intereset) but cropping info is in dt_image_t

Dt does use maker notes only if reported via exiv2. Aspect ratio is calculated from used sensor size as reported.

I observe a difference if I scroll by the mouse wheel. If I drag there is a very bad delay. (did not try to get the reason for this yet)
