@thestelz the counter just show the number of mentions and direct messages to you. But if you have other `don't read messages`, it will add this dot on the icon....

This would be a good way to contribute to the project.

I had the same problem, validated the suggestion of swapping it, and it worked. Created the PR for this. Thank you @thomasdao

@debdutdeb this doesn't seem to be an Electron issue. Did you take a look at the logs?
