I was baffled why my service was getting empty data for "bytes" fields until I found this issue. The suggestion worked beautifully.

BTW, I've seen this error as well `Error: HTTP-Code: 413 Message: {"errors":["Payload too large"]}`. It can be avoided if there's a more granular configuration of what metrics to send.

@int128 quick follow up: I have a very large workflow that has many jobs (actually the number of jobs is dynamic). It seems that job-level metrics are capped at 399?...
Can this get some love? I like this tool a lot but our repos require commits be signed :(
I'm seeing the exact problem and the workaround works great. It'd be great to get this problem fixed though because people have this setup when they have multiple github accounts...
I spent a lot of time debugging this problem. This behavior is quite confusing and hidden. You'd think `~` means home directory and that's where the cache should be restored...
Yeah, this is a blocker for us because we require signed commits :(
