ptreeopt

Dear Jon,

My name is Mariana and I am Msc student at UCL for Environmental Systems Engineering. First of all I read your article and found it extremely sophisticated and very interesting. I am developing a research project to optimize short flood intervention and I believe your approach may be the best path for my algorithm. However I am not being able to run import ptreeopt to python and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Should I install/import any specific library besides Numpy before running ptreeopt? Sorry if this might be a simple question but I am still learning by myself python and I am new to the subject.

Thank you for your time.

Best,

Mariana

Hi @Marianasans , thanks for your interest. I don't have this set up as a global package installation, so you have to just download the package and put in the same directory as your script:

folder/
├── main.py/
├── ptreeopt/

Then you should be able to import ptreeopt inside the main.py script.
