ENH: increase transparency of background dataset sub-sampling

I am also confused about the background dataset and would like to ask a follow-up question, if I may. Suppose I use shap.TreeExplainer to explain predictions from my LightGBM model...

Cannot load timestamp from oracle when before '1677-09-22 00:00:00'

I also had the same issue with reading date date from SQL Server, even with Version 0.4.0.
