What about the -pthread option? does it work? Also, are you sure you need `'-L/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/'`? this should be in your ld.so.conf

- you need to rerun `./waf configure` - you need to add PTHREAD to the list of libraries in uselib = '...' in the `wscript` of you experiment (in `modular`)
