I believe there's no announcement because the change was made after the development snapshot 3.25.1 release. I expect it to be mentioned in the 3.25.2 development release and more prominently...
You definitely do not have to shut down your website. Here's some GNOME-related projects with websites: - [GTK+](https://www.gtk.org/) - [Glom](https://www.glom.org/)
And [GCompris](http://gcompris.net) charges for their full Android and Windows versions. Although I guess they have switched to Qt now, it wasn't a problem when they were hosted on GNOME.
I'm not a maintainer here, but could you please update your merge request to use "43" instead of the alpha? GNOME 43 is now at API Freeze so hopefully things...
We could probably close this and just cherry-pick https://github.com/micheleg/dash-to-dock/commit/c50390d9236 to the master branch.
Debian and Ubuntu are now using https://github.com/WebKit/WebKit/pull/18614 which I believe fixes the issue for most Nvidia users.
