Cool! I've never used XPath, but I have used [jq](https://stedolan.github.io/jq/), which is amazing, and if I were to do something for YAML, I'd basically copy what jq did for JSON.

Is an RPM file a compiled object or source? If it's compiled, then I don't think so, but if it's source, then you can put it in contrib/
