FYI, BeagleBoard.org does have a signed public key from Godaddy.com. It was used to sign the Windows drivers (https://github.com/beagleboard/beaglebone-getting-started/blob/master/Drivers/Windows/src/make.bat). Not sure if we can use the same key to sign...
