It might make sense to add a new boolean value, "isRelativeToText." If it's set to true, the activity indicator/image will be on the left or right sides of the text...

It would still use the usual alignment keys, they'd just be relative to the text.

It'd be nice if there was a default padding, since it doesnt default to the notification height like it does now.

Yes I think that's how I had it originally, but I can't remember for sure. It's probably the best course of action.

Yes. So I could have like user-dismissed progress notification will animate to the left to signify going into a hidden progress indicator and animating up meand done. That might work....
