Slideshow/carousel instead of gallery

Is it possible to implement a carousel (instead of a gallery) that if clicked on becomes a PhotoSwipe full-screen carousel (as it happens already right now)?

Naming convention using white spaces causes invalid cache generation (gtk-update-icon-cache).
