feature request : docker-less install, perhaps java jar ?

**problem** I am frustrated to install docker first to run this platform. it just makes the first time adoption a bit complicated. not everyone has docker on their machines. instead...

there is no option to customise the graphical layout of nodes and edges

there is only one default layout and it shows a mesh. not possible to change it to more aligned and linear layouts.

node circular menu popup delay is too high

on clicking on any node in graph, the circular menu that pops out takes too much time (4-6 secs) it breaks the flow. it should be less than 1 sec....
