Until the Form component gets wrapped with forwardRef, this is currently not possible. The way I found to get around this was to use our own component for the time...

Also found that out as I was looking for the latest version (5 and above).

For those having the same problem, I've found that importing and passing our own instance of i18next through the options parameter makes the problem go away.
