Also I'm planning to convert the HDD partition from _ext4_ to _btrfs_ using `btrfs-convert` soon, so I wanna be sure this issue doesn't happen again.

Can reproduce on macOS 11.6.8 Big Sur with KeepassXC 2.7.4 from Homebrew.

Any updates on this? This feature would be really handy IMHO to send secrets e.g. passwords.
