Will scale and shift invariant loss affect when ground truth have little valid depth value.

I want to train the model on my own dataset using your scale and shift invariant loss, but the ground truth depth is sparse (about 40% pixels are valid), will it affect the two ways (least square or use median to norm)computation of scale and shift. Thank you.
