Thanks for the workaround, but I think that just disables the check for unnecessary stubbings. Not a real solution.

Is there any way to enforce this without giving up `#[derive(Deserialize)]` at the present moment? What would it take to implement a `#[serde(strict)]` attribute like that?

👍 this would be great to have, especially in crates that depend on crates with with lots and lots of `Deserialize` types.
