joyshock mapper is only for windows
with table_mode = 'w', the writing takes the same time for each file. With recordbatchreader, when would I do the joins? I also need to do some more complex manipulation...
I'm going to experiment with a delta lake, it seems like it would be better for my project... I have had promising results using [this connector for tableau](https://github.com/MotherDuck-Open-Source/duckdb-tableau-connector)
I uninstalled numpy, purged the cache, and pip install numpy==1.26.4 I'm still getting `ValueError: numpy.dtype size changed, may indicate binary incompatibility. Expected 96 from C header, got 88 from PyObject`...
From what I can tell, it didn't make any change... each iteration still takes longer and longer
