Please can you give some details on the environment, os, how, and why your building pydantic-core from source.
No idea why it's failing for you and not others (e.g. our CI) and only now, maybe a subtle change in a patch release. But I should be about to...
The reason is that you have the wrong version of typing extensions installed: https://github.com/pydantic/pydantic-core/blob/f636403c2e8169bcbb94aa71a0727d76076f7e6e/pyproject.toml#L4
oh, I've just re-read the version constraint, maybe that's not it.
Which patch version of 3.10 are you using?
