Okay, the problem must be that the Amiga does the mode switch (somehow) so seamlessly that the ASIC doesn't report a sync drop. Without that report, the firmware doesn't realize...
Oh, that's right. Format detection works much better over CSync.
Many different mixes of source and output can cause this condition: The WiFi signals are getting distorted by the activity of the video scaler chip, effectively blocking the network. No...
It is trying to measure the sync times, sometimes getting them, most of the time not. The timings are too far out of some expected window.
Gbscontrol generates 50Hz outputs just fine. It is probably your TV that simply can't do 50Hz. There is an option to force PAL to 60Hz in the web ui preferences...

I'm sorry but look at your picture of your monitor. Read what it says. There is no error, the signal is fine. Your monitor can display it but it warns...
The PAL at 60 mode already exists. Everything you have trouble with works for me, and many others. I can't fix what's not broken.
The problem might not be with the HDMI dongle, but the TV not accepting 50Hz over HDMI. If you have another 50Hz source, does that work?
Yes okay, just from it being in the PAL region, it should support 50Hz sources. So maybe it is the HDMI dongle then... Any other sinks to try out?
