Will this be fixed? The band aid fix does not do it for me as certain mods I am using rely on "reach-entity-attributes" from ConnectorExtras.
The UI not rendering is an Nvidia driver issue in my case, I had to downgrade from 560 to 555, though this is a temporary "band-aid" solution.
in general the ability to change widget icons in the panel would be amazing, although I am not sure if it's possible

I confirm this bug (no border should be visible on the panel spacer elements)
Turns out this is an issue with the panel spacer that's shipped by default with KDE - I changed to the version that you mantain and it's looking fine now.
