So this has to do with masking, I think, since resetting the `ImageFileCollection` made this work again.

Add visual feedback on incorrect settings

This could be done with the new `Valid` widget in ipywidgets.

Have "group by" list number of masters that will be created in the widget.

This is partly addressed by 9f24850d3f3e33e0ac83f1bfd9aaf29028202fd6 which adds a count of the number fo groups to be processed to the progress bar.
