Feature request: additional documentation

Some better installation instructions would be helpful. If you follow the current ones word-for-word you just end up with some stuff installed and no way to run it.

Modal Not Rendering

I'm having a similar problem. I'm looking through the elements rendered, it displays the gray-out region, but not the actual modal panel itself.
