I have contacted AWS support about this, but so far the issue has been "Work in progress" for 8 days. I hope they get back to me about this soon.

Sadly only a 'we are working on it and we have escalated it' but no solution or anything..

After various back-and-forths the conclusion of AWS support was that it was a problem in the application. We did not agree with that conclusion and instead migrated away from App...

ECS: docker labels are not supported

According to https://docs.docker.com/cloud/ecs-compose-features/ the service.deploy.labels attribute should be supported. This is not the case though, running Docker version 2.10.11.
