Updated: Actually, sender and recipient appear swapped always, it's not just incoming messages. Outgoing messages appear as if they were sent *to* me.

happens for me as well. if i disable then reenable the option, the act of enabling it syncs the scrolling in that moment; but yeah it doesn't stay sync'd.
