Just chiming in to say that I ran into the same issue. I temporarily fixed it by making the origin uname the default one instead.

Doesn't the visibility change event also fire when a tab gets inactive? I wonder if it would duplicate views or something in cases where the user leaves the tab then...

Definitely agree over linting and PostCSS. It will also make a future TypeScript migration possible and easier. I'm unsure Babel is really necessary however, and I'd personally go with Vite...
