Hi @dgutov , thanks for getting back. I was originally on macOS, and setting `x-wait-for-event-timeout` didn't help much of the issue, sadly. I have since moved to Windows + WSL...

I think you can turn on display-line-mode and see if the company tooltip will affect the line numbers next to it.

Same issue if I tweak the line-spacing to more than 0.
