This is for making use of the RequestHandler that we've already got in place to be extended to handle to send native crashes through that mechanism.

Updated Layout type to allow null value

Current implementation only allows value or undefined. In order to remove the default layout a null value must be used, which setting a layout field to undefined does not do.
