That looks like _sorting_ and _search_ to me, rather than _filtering_. Do you think that'd be better, or are we using different definitions?
I would think so. If we only sort, then the list will still be ~600 items long, which can feel overwhelming, even if you know that the results you wanted...

This doesn't seem like a high priority, so I'm gonna remove it from the milestone. Feel free to re-add it if you think it is, though.
Do we need to ask the contributor if they want the notification to go out or not? I'm leaning towards not allowing people to opt-out, because accountability is an important...
@andreamiddleton has a good idea: we could make the announcement for the _company_, rather than the _contributors_. That would avoid putting people on the spot. I think the team reps/members...
