I can't reproduce this:  Does is still happen?

That's the stream YouCast gets from YouTube (via YoutubeExplode):

What exactly do you mean by self-host? You can currently download the `YouCast.exe` file from the releases tab where the "server" is hosted locally inside the executable or you can...
What would you be using the authentication for? Downloading private videos? I don't currently have plans on adding authentication, but I'm open for suggestions...
Did you use your own application and API key for YouTube?
You need to fill both checkboxes, the API key and the name of the project (i.e. "application") you created .
