Ran into the same issue and un-indenting seems to have resolved the issue for me in my testing.

May only be when the app is closed that this happens. I was reading my (duplicated) tweets and auto refresh kicked in with 3 new tweets that were not duplicated.

After reproducing a couple times this morning, I am unable to do so now after an unrelated restart. Sorry for the noise.
