For the ARIA scene_io class you need to have osgeo ie. gdal installed. Please do so and try again!

I agree, however, I would rather opt for heading instead of azimuth, emergence would be ok for me.
The order needs to be n_pts, 3 (n_comp), n_src, 6 (strain tensor comps) Then it works. Probably updating the readme would be enough.

Thanks, that was my intention, such that others can also become aware of that. Its a rare configuration of TDEs and does not often cause issues.
