Yeah... I've had several requests to automagically setup the dir structure for logs & graphite regardless of where you've mounted the volumes. I've been thinking through this quite a bit...

Will you run with `docker run ... hopsoft/graphite-statsd:v0.9.15-phusion0.9.18` & let me know if the problem manifests on that tag also?

Thanks for the report on issues with pid files on restart. I'll look into deleting these on container start.

I'm having a hard time duplicating this issue. Can you provide more detail? Does the docker image fail to build or does nginx not start within the container?
