That's what I meant "huge". Page numbers, color buttons from https://github.com/koreader/koreader/issues/13187, rounded corners are TextWidget. It doesn't support color yet.
What about unjustified text boxes when page number fields have different lengths?
I think about manual setting "Show color in bookmark list". And filter by color, of course.

In two-pages menu there is no room for several ^^^. Years ago I proposed a level number near the up-chevron, rejected.

Cannot confirm. Looks like you accidentally touch the screen when pressing the buttons.
I'm not sure about the Frontlight checkbox.
