Yes, its gnome terminal 3.28.2. Zlago does Work, see Screenshot (the vertical crazy signs only appear after a focus change).  Its the Default-Font, Ubuntu Mono Regular i assume, that...
Not sure whats wrong with this, but it looks like your gnome-terminal. Using a different font dosn't change the location of the gibberish like konsole does.

There is an (I belive unsupported) option for multiple Instances: activate the Flag "single-instance" as described [here](https://github.com/camunda/camunda-modeler/tree/master/docs/flags).
