Well Eclipse runs well on Numix and Adwaita but crashes as soon as i shift to Paper and make no other change.
@snwh eclipse does use the gtk theme. Also there is low contrast in eclipse dialog on error message. Changing theme solves this problem. Even numix has this bug.
Have you made any customizations to the LibreOffice appearance? My default does not show a dark theme

@dheera You can check the version in Synaptic or any other package manager or try this command ``` apt-cache show paper-gtk-theme | grep Filename ```
