The compiler will create the same expression. There are tests which verify that.

@magicmoux the DD was also used in (i think now dead/dormant) [KnockoutMVC](https://github.com/AndreyAkinshin/knockout-mvc). It can be useful there. But I'm not sure if it does support assignments.

The reason I'm asking is because I could not reproduce the error. Can you provide a test case which is failing?
